KONEX, the Korean stock market for rising venture enterprises, recognized VINATech's technologies and operational performance, including export contribution (May 29, 2020). By unanimous decision, All agreed that VINATech should be the winner of the grand prize. VINATech was listed on KONEX in July 2013. Ultracapacitor(EDLC, aka Supercapacitor) is a major product as a kind of physical battery, an energy storage device that can store energy and instantly supply current in need. It goes into both devices that need fast charging and discharging. Ultracapacitor applications include; △ Electricity for smart grid △ Smart meter for water and gas △ Electronics such as Memory Back Up △ Car safety devices △ Shock detection door lock △ Extend the life of drone △ Backup and eco-friendly solutions for medical devices △ Solar power generation △ Wind turbine VINATech's Ultracapacitor is currently ranked the first in the market share of supercapacitors below 1000F. About 90% of sales comes from exports, and the revenue has been going in the smooth path. It has shown 30% or more increase every year from 2017 to 2019. During the same period, the sales profit has risen as 4.78%→14.33%→19.48%. By the end of 2019, VINATech has participated in five national projects, with securing many domestic and foreign patents.
